You really are in rooms above the inn, with just a moment’s amble downstairs to superb award-winning food and drink. Being above a pub, we have sound-proofed the floors to help ensure a cosy and restful stay.

Since March 2022 we now have three brand spanking new bedroom suites, all named after our beautiful local woods. All have a novel mini-kitchen with a fridge, microwave, toaster, kettle and storage, allowing you to be self-contained and independent for breakfasts and other meals and family needs if you wish, although most guests indulge in our cooked breakfast downstairs between 9am & 10am.

• a bottle of fizz will be waiting in your room, just let us know when you’re arriving
